Juan C. Escudero, Esq.

Juan Escudero, Esq. is an immigration attorney and the founder of Escudero Immigration Law, PLLC. Juan’s commitment to the immigrant community stems back to his undergraduate years at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, when he participated in a local refugee outreach program in 2013.
As part of his role in the program, Juan helped asylum seekers from all corners of the world establish themselves in the United States and begin their legal processes before the Immigration Courts in Pittsburgh.
After graduating cum laude from Duquesne University with the Award of Excellence in Philosophy, Juan entered law school at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he did his practice at the Law School’s pro bono Immigration Clinic. During his practice with the Immigration Clinic, attorney Escudero successfully represented immigrants before the Immigration Courts and fought for their rights as if they were his own. This experience solidified his commitment to the immigrant community and ensured he would dedicate his professional career to their service.
Upon graduating magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Juan joined an immigration law firm in Virginia, where he won dozens of asylum and cancellation of removal cases before the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals and successfully helped clients obtain visas and legal status through family and business petitions with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
With a cutting-edge understanding of varied forms of immigration relief such as asylum, U visas, special juvenile status, EB1, H1B and family petitions, Juan is passionate about making the complex immigration process easier for his clients.
Juan Escudero, Esq. founded Escudero Immigration Law to provide the immigrant community in the Washington metropolitan area (Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland) with advanced, high-quality legal representation while supporting and valuing each client as more than just another case. Attorney Escudero is licensed to practice law in Puerto Rico, all Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
